I'm trying to think of a good name to use for hubby on the blog.
I think my dear son will be Kiddo because that's what I often call him. Or I could make it Captain, short for Captain Methane, his moniker derived from his fondness for frequent, cacophonous, and odiferous gastrointestinal emissions. Maybe I'll use both interchangeably.
But my husband? Nothing seems quite appropriate.
Regardless of what he shall be called, he's been at family camp this week and will be coming home today. Kiddo has asked numerous times how it can be family camp if only dad is going. Good question. Kiddo has missed him a lot, especially with his first week of football practice.
Since we have felt like we've been running nonstop in opposite directions the last few months, I already felt deprived of quality time with hubby. Now I'm glad he's coming home.

Loved the name for the son. As for the husband maybe MIA (Missing In Action) would be appropriate.
